Why does this one look different than the one on the Bubba site? All in all I think this one is pretty cool, but like the style of the other one better.

This was actually his very first attempt at the character... the one on the Bubba site is closer to what we are going to do. Good eye, my friend...

Some of you may remember this... this is part 1... can anyone distinguish what part two will reveal about this character?

I will try and take a shot at this. His hat is covering his demon head while the poncho are his wings. Is that what you are looking for or am I just stating the obvious like usual? ;D

Finally we can all finally put to rest the mystery that you have put before us. Although if it turns out that I am right I expect an infamous Marvel "No Prize." LOL.

Actually, here is the story as to how Chris got the nickname "Cannonball". He and I were roommates and collegiate competitors back in the day. We were attending college Monday through Thursday (full time) and on Friday nights, we would get a whole gang together and either go bowling, shoot pool or simply hang out at a friends house... sometimes multiple combinations of these. Well, anyway, when we use to go bowling... Chris was one of those guys that you know when someone seems to throw the ball half way down the aisle before making contact? Chris use to do that but instead of the ball going way high and coming down, he had this ability to have the ball go STRAIGHT OUT like out of a cannon and the ball wouldn't reach the floor until almost 2/3rds of the way down the aisle. He usually scored pretty high too. We started calling him Cannonball due to this happening on a regular occasion. It stuck. I even gave him the theme song "Cannonball" by the Breeders. A band that was around during the nineties... showing our ages here... lol.
And there ya go. (whew, lotta words there, huh?... lol.)

Sad for as long as you've been telling me about Chris and your college days, and when I finally got to meet him and I just now heard that story for the first time. Hmmm. I see how it is. I kinda figured it might have had something to do with the bathroom too.

You know, with Cannonballs name on this thread you would think he would actually write something on it. That slacker.
